I am starting to debate what amp I should go with, Rockford Fosgate t40001bd, Autotek MM4000, or IA40.1.

Pricing doesn't concern me that much, I am more looking for a "which would be a better amp to go with"

I am guessing it to be in this order, but am not 100%

IA40.1

T40001bd

MM4000.1D

Thanks

I was lookin more for the IA, cuz they aren't as popular as the forgate, but they are becomming harder n harder to find.

Well, apparently ohm load doesnt matter since not all of those amps do their best power at the same load so lets see here-

If u can get em cheaper then thats fine but this is average pricing here-

Rockford - 4Kwrms - $1,400

Autotek - 4Kwrms - ... discontinued

IA - 3,600w - ~$750

Since price doesnt concern you, get a Maxximus.. hehe no just playin

Actually, try this-

4,500w @2ohm = $800 2 AQ2200Ds strapped @2ohms.

Or, you might like this-

AQ3500D - 3,500w @12.0Volts! @1ohm ~$700

Strappable = 7,000w @12v @2ohm = ~$1,400

I have a MM4000.1 if someone is really interested. Would be a bitch to ship tho. And iirc its 4krms at 2ohms.

So the IA40.1 doesnt make 4,000 rms??

I might end up buyin the MM4000.1D off a friend for cheap. But yeah, the fosgate's pricing isnt an issue, I work for a local audio store that carries fosgate, and the IA was already at a decent price from what I've seen prev. Has IA come out with(or in the future comming out with) a new one to match or beat the 40.1? I haven't read much lately on IA and i am just bein lazy now

Thanks for the info!

40.1. It's a no-brainer.

It definately makes 4kw. And more ;)

It's the same amp as the American Bass 500.1 and ignoring a couple small diffrences, it's the same as the Atomic 5000.1
