I'm not discrediting anyone. But I have been on a lot of forums where there are a lot of wahoos that make comments and have nothing to back themselfs up with. So with that being said I take advice from people with a big grain of salt as there are more wahoos then knowledgable people on these forums. I'm not saying I'm an expert either but I would rather get info from people with know how they people with info from here say.

Some of whom have won many SQ comps.....

Ok so who are they? If there are people who have won SQ comps please LMK who your are and what comps you have won. Id be much more apt to listen to someone with a background and has experiance.

I don't have sq comps within 400 miles of where I live. My mentor in car audio is a sq nut who has many years competing in IASCA. Ask dave-brooks, dave-edwards, scott bulwalda etc... they are all on this forum and have a plethora of sq experience. Jimj as well, (although I think his forte is home audio but I could be wrong).

My comment was more of a matter of etiquette is all supra.

No offence taken and I hope none to you either. Here is a relivant question though, if everyone in a room with 20,000 people in it say that that an elephant just walked through the room, and everyone who has taken the time to talk to you tells this same story, it may be best to take their word for it. Waiting for an "expert" who is qualified isn't going to get you far.

If you want expert reasons on why not having 2 drivers playing the same range of frequency, posting it in the advanced section someone will give you the technical data backing it. Otherwise, I would use the search functions and read on other posts as to why, and I promise you will find that nearly everyone will say and frequencies above 60hz or so should only have 1 driver per channel.
