I have a Mustang which equals no trunk. I have 2 Audiofonic 12s in a ported box in my backseat. They are rated at 1200W max but we all know thats a lie. I am looking for a mono amp to power these until I find a 15 that will fit in the trunk. I have looked at kenwood KAC-X1R, hifonics 1608d, and a few others. My budget it 300 max. Thanks for the help.

I wouldn't even bother putting a 15 in your trunk. A solid 12" will have more room to breathe.

I was thinkin the same way. I have the Kenwood Excelon KAC-X1R. Would a Memphis Mojo 12 hit harder than 2 Memphis m3's? Or any other suggestions for a 12 that will pound with that amp? Thanks

Look around for a mtx TA81001. I got mine for 248$ shipped and it does 1897 rms at 14.4v 1ohm. very solid amp

ive got a kenwood kac-9102d which is 850rms at 2 ohms... you can have it for 120 shipped
