im looking to build a ported box for 2 12'' chaos .does anybody have any designs that would be easy to make? im putting it in 98 explorer so it can be a pretty decent size

RE audio.com has a box builder that you can plug and play with until you find the right size and tunning freq.

its pretty simple and quick to learn and use, plus it gives you all the cuts you need to make.

all you need to do if find out the ideal cubes per sub, and tunning freq. and you done.

If you get me your e-mail address, I can send you the plans that Chad gave me. It was for 2 12" Arsenals. I imagine it would work.

Did it dry ok? I used some 3m stuff and it has remained tacky even after a few weeks. Do you remember what brand you used?

It dried fine. I held it a little farther away from the box as I sprayed to give it a little texture. The only downside that I saw with it is that it doesn't get rock hard. As far as the brand, I don't recall. As you can see, the pics are from '06 and I've killed a few brain cells since then. It may have been 3M....................or maybe not, I honestly can't say for sure. He's(my son) got a lot of compliments on the box I built for him, and still has it. He'll be selling it shortly as we go a little bigger.
