can you just add an optima to your current system wired parallel. you would still just get 12v. or 13 whatever. but it said charging a deep cycle bat is a whole different thing. an it would just fry your alt. high output or not??? help please thanks again

    First question, yes you can wire it in parallel with no problems.

    Second, no, this won't fry your alternator.
