After trying to work out a place to fit my Mpyre 65Ms in my Tercel wagon, I realized it wasn't going to happen. I sold them and bought a new pair of Hertz Space 6 mids. The Hertz are 2" shallower 2" than the Mpyres, which will allow me to build some kick pods for them. Is anybody here running the Space 6 in kicks? How do they sound?

The only constant in my system over the last year are my DLS R4 comps. I bought them last year for a steal. The 4"s are mounted in the stock under dash locations in the Toyota, with the tweeters in the outboard AC vents. The stage is about a block wide, and the mids have amazing punch for a 4" I'm driving them with an Aura Force 250-A, and will be powering the Hertz with a Force 340-A.

Bringing up the rear is a pair of Aura MR52 Braxials (I know, but I've always liked the sound of rear fill) on another Force 250-A, and an Aura NS10 sub in a .65 cu ft sealed box with... you guesed it... another 250-A.

The head unit is a P880PRS.

All this in a $600 hoopty with 363k+ miles on it. I love my car.

any update on this? i put some Space 6l drivers in the doors of my subie and they are awesome. they pound out the midbass, but at higher volumes they struggle a little bit, but all in all for everyday listening they are awesome. i just bought a set of Space 8l comps. not sure what i will do with them since i will probably be buying a new vehicle this year.
