Can you guys give me some recomendations for good component sets(2 way)/amp combination? I am looking to spend around $600.

    That's a pretty good budget :)

    For the amp, I'd look for a used 4-channel, something a couple years old, would give you more to spend on speakers. For those, I'd start looking on Zaphaudio.com and Madisound and seeing what you can afford.
