Help please :-) description of the amp below * Mono subwoofer amplifier * 375 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (750 watts x 1 at 2 ohms) * 750 watts Peak x 1 at 4 ohms (1500 watts x 1 at 2 ohms) * Variable low-pass filter (50-200 Hz at 24 dB per octave) * Variable bass boost (0-18 dB at 40 Hz) * Subsonic filter (12 dB at 25 Hz) * Wired remote bass level control * Class D design * CEA-2006 compliant * Speaker-level inputs * Preamp outputs * Fuse rating: 40A x 2 * Requires 4-gauge power and ground leads 80 amp fuse recommended, wiring and hardware * Not included with amplifier * 14-11/16"W x 2-5/16"H x 9-5/8"D To be specific the head unit I already have will be a Pioneer DEH-P6000UB. I drive a 93 Acura Legend LS Coupe. Since my rear speakers are blown. I was thinking on replacing all 4 speakers in my car, and so my next question is If I do get new aftermarket speakers, will I need another amp to power that up? If so is a low wattage amp good and how many channels? This is really my first time trying to get these sound system to setup up and I don't want anything to go wrong. If any information is needed please do ask!
September 11, 200817 yr If you get aftermarket speakers you SHOULD get a 4 channel amp to power them, you don't have to though. It will probably sound like if you run it off the deck too! Sundown 100.4's are great, but out of stock right now.
September 11, 200817 yr Author would I have to add up all 4 speakers RMS power handling? and get the right amp for that with 4 channels? and the same 4 ohms impedance?
September 11, 200817 yr would I have to add up all 4 speakers RMS power handling? and get the right amp for that with 4 channels? and the same 4 ohms impedance?each channel will put out a certain RMS power at a certain ohm load. The Sundown amp I recommended is 100 WRMS x 4 channels at 4 ohms. I believe it is 160 WRMS at 2 ohms per channel. You don't have to get a 4 channel, but it will make life easier for you.
September 11, 200817 yr Author so if i get something similar to that for my speakers. will it still be enough for my head unit to be powered to my zx750.1? with my subs?

September 11, 200817 yr Author should I? i have no clue lol. i don't think so though because the zx750.1 is just enough for my subs. so I don't think i will be doing that

September 11, 200817 yr Author ok basically. I know my subs will run with the zx750.1 lol now the problem for me is figuring out the right speakers with amp. I want to replace the 6x9 with another rear speaker that are 6x9 3way. and 6 1/2 on the doors. which most likely be 2way it doesn't matter. I don't know if the impedance on the speakers have to be all 4ohms or what lol. just confused with those

September 11, 200817 yr Oh its okay, we are here to help! With the ZX350.4 it is 90 WRMS per channel at 2 ohms. It will run the 6x9's well, but probibaly not the 6 1/2's.

September 12, 200817 yr Author Ok. So which wiring kit will be able to run the speakers with the amp? A 4gauge or 8 gauge will do? And also for my kicker subs with that zx750.1 amplifier. Appreciate the help;)
September 12, 200817 yr Author hmm. it said on the specs for that zx750.1 " Requires 4-gauge power and ground leads 80 amp fuse recommended, wiring and hardware" so would it be worse to go for a 12gauge? not sure on these. or is you recommending to use a 12gauge?

If you mean 12 gauge power wire...ROFL
September 12, 200817 yr He's saying use 4 guage for power and ground to the amplifier, 12 guage wire from amplifier to speakers.

You can always lower the output of the amp below what it's rated for.But yeah, apparently I wasn't clear enough on my wire suggestions.
