How will a Fi BL 15 Fully Loaded sound on 1100 watts rms @ 2 ohm? I have an alpine type r 15 running on that amp im getting the fi tomorrow Im just curious how it will sound and how much better than the type r thanks

Billy

It will sound horrible.

Put in a box and that might change though :P

What kind of box will this go in?

Oh ok good.

Nice box.

I would say that audibly, there will not be too much difference. The BL might get a lil bit lower and maybe slightly louder.

Not much though. I can't say too much because I've only heard one 10" BL and 2 12" Type R's...

I will tell you that one thing about the BL is that you can add about 500 watts to the amount of power you are now throwing at it.

It'll handle 1500 clean watts if it's fully loaded. So if you can ever upgrade amps, that would probably give you a difference in volume.

i think it will sound much better then the R's,

i think it will sound much better then the R's,

You were right man i have more range, now it hits the lows and highs better

what kind of enclosure do you have ?

give that sub more air space ...yer chocking it in that box with sub displacement .. IMO

its a 3.5 cubic foot box tuned to 32 hz thats too small?

Nope, that falls right where the BL would be happiest per Fi's recommendations.
