With me, with most things I learn by taking them apart and reassembling them. Thats how I got into computers. I took a few old ones apart and reassembled them. I'd kind of like to do the same thing with a sub. Of course I'm not going to tear apart my brand new SPL-12s.(still havent arrived though)

I've watched the Discovery Channel video about how a subwoofer goes to together, but thats not enough for me.

That is rather neat, even if it is pointless. I'd like to do something simmilar.

I'd like to do a 18" subwoofer. I'd like to do it rather on a budget, so if I screw it up I won't be out much.

I'm going to look around and see what I can find for woofer parts... see what I come up with and post it here...
