Posted October 2, 200816 yr Hey everyone...I am in the proccess of ordering my 2 18" btls...and im curious..after I upgrade my alt..and work the big 3.... batteries... do I need to go with Powermaster batts. or will several optima batts suffice? if so what color and how many?? 2 18" btls fully loaded 2 saz 3000dz and all the upgrades thnks guys...ill post pics when I recieve the sub(s) Freddy Fred
October 2, 200816 yr for 2 saz 3000d's at 1 ohm you should have at least 110 amp hours for each... so your gonna need 220+ amp hours. optimas will work. but your gonna need a whole mess of them..... oprimas are 50-75 amp hours each depending on the group size you use..... i have 1 saz 3k... i used 3 optimas and an h/o at first.. it was fine aslong as the a/c and headlights wernt on.... i now have 5 optimas..... its holding tough.... so... i would say atleast 10 for your needs. based on what i have done.... i get optimas for pretty cheap... other wise i would have just bought 1 d3100 powermaster......

October 2, 200816 yr i do no have the same deal you have bkolfo4..... other wise i would have had the same ones you had... i think those are the biggest ones right???? i get mine at a refurb place... i know a few messicans down there... so when thay come in my phone rings... also i check for ones on crigslist people sell them thinking thay are bad.... i just slow charge them and thay allways seem to come back good as new... ill sell you mine if you will buy them all at once! as far as wire goes.. knu..... cheap brother.. i picked up 50 feet of 0 gauge for 84 bucks.. you cant beat that.
