Just curious here. If you have put so much money into saving weight on the car *assuming race car?* why are you adding weight back in for something as trivial as a small woofer?

Sorry, I missed your question. It's not a racecar; it's a street - legal racecar that I drive as much as possible. As you mentioned, in a (pure) racecar an audio system is ridiculous. FWIW, my road course machine is just a shell.
