This is a newb question.

Can I put an 8 inch sub with an amp in a 2002 VW Passat and still keep the factory deck? Friend doesnt want to change stock deck. Probably a stupid question but I wondered how difficult this would be to install if this was possible. Thanks

    Yeah it's possible. Look for a line output converter (LOC), and you can either use one of the rear speaker inputs if he doesn't use his rear speakers, or just splice it in. That'll get your signal to the amp.
