That was Jordan (Godsmack). He had 4 10 inchers in the back. Lean and mean.

And to the OP... you need to actually go and measure your usable space.. telling us what car you have isn't helpful as we probably don't own that car.

I got the same car, GOLD Scion xB RS5, has about enough room for a box 38in wide, 16-18 inches deep, and 18 inches tall. I pretty much filled the thing, I got a 4.2cuft box for my Fi Q 15. This is with the rear seats up btw. With the seats down, pretty much even more space.

When I measured it The Dimensions where 36 Wide by 18 High by 20 Deep with the back seats up

If I did the math right that would come out to about 7.5 cuft (let me know if im wrong on this)

will 4 tens fit in that area and I didnt even bother to look at the sizes the Q comes in... the smallest being 12 and I want to run 10's so it's between the SSA Icon, RE SX or the Fi BL

Now if i run the Sundown saz 3000d what type of electrical upgrades would I have to do

A 200A alternator would be a good thing to look into to deliver full and proper performance from the SAZ3KD. Barring that however, you could upgrade your underhood battery to something beefier and add a couple of extra batteries in the rear.

Where would I start to look for a 200A alt

and what kind of batteries would be a good to run I had a buddy who ran an optima for his setup or is there better out there

space is key with this build it seems... so optimas are NOT the battery for you!

I have had nothing but great experience with the SXs. They are probably some of the most tried and true subs out there, before the SX they were the HC for quite a while.... Really decent sub...

All the others are nice also, really a matter of taste I think....

SUNDOWN!!!

why not the RE SX? Fi doesnt even have a 10" Q or a BL

SX 10s would pound in your car. but i cant imagine if theres alot of room in the XB, it looks small.

I was thinking of running a Sundown Saz-3000d or 2 1500d what would the differences be

also in the process of buying a 200amp alt and putting a yellow top underhood

what would be some good backup batteries choices

Plus in the design phase of getting a box built by Fisher Customs

It is going to be tight but I will make it work

lol wow. yes they do have 10" q's and bl's

Okay so im going with the Fi Q's and I guess the Sundown Saz-3000d

Im going to get a 200A H/O alt from Excessive Amperage and a couple of Kinetik HC1400 should that do me

if not what else do I need
