A subwoofer makes no noise at all. You can get 4 18" subs and have no db's at all, unless you drop them on the ground. You need an amp to supply voltage to them. And for the amp, you need voltage going to that, and for that you will need a constant power supply. Then you will need something that will send an audio signal to the ampplifiers. Then once you have everythign hooked up it will make noise, most likely not loud thoug. Put the subwoofers in a box and play them, then you will have noise.If you want to talk about being the loudest on earth, then you have a lot of work to do. I think Pioneer is the loudest on earth now with thier truck? Or ScottieJ with his van, im assuming here, I could very well be wrong. Anyways, these guys are running multiple woofers with around 100kW in total.I would say for a world record, get 150 15" RE MT's and about 2megawatts and put them in a jumbo jet that is braced to all hell with 1" titanium. Then you may make a world record.
