now i know how to mod the MTX 81000D, but i was wondering if anyone knew, to mod the 1000D to run @ 1 ohm, is it the same as to mod the 81000D?

    you just have to remove Q240 from the circuit board. the 1000 does not have compression feature so you don't need to press the switch
