Posted November 5, 200816 yr I have my kenwood excelon 4 chan mounted in front of my sub and port... I think the vibration is the reason I had to get the digital processor replaced on the amp and kept giving strange errors on the display. we tried larger head screws and my next option is rubber washers to stop the amp from vibrating so much. or would it be smart just to forget about the amp and jump on the pre order for the sundown 100.4. has anybody ever heard of that problem before?
November 5, 200816 yr Was it on your trunk floor? Also, picking up a Sundown is never frowned upon around here!
November 5, 200816 yr Author my sub floor where the amp is its MDF. im still trying to find ways to mount the amps diff but with the two 1500ds and batts and the box... its kinda cramped
November 6, 200816 yr The worst place to mount an amp is on a subwoofer box, especially if it is on a large, unbraced panel.....
