I already have an Optima Red Top and alternator was replaced last year. Will the Big 3 upgrade help my problem?

System is SAX100.4 and JBL 1200.1 0 gauge for power and ground.

The big 3 will help, but might not solve the problem. what does your alt put out? you may need to add another battery.

without the big 3 your alternator isnt helping any :/

Do you drive the mustang in your avatar?

Yes, its a 2005 mustang.

I plan on doing the big three asap, but the alternator is tough to get to. It actually already has 4 gauge wire going to it so I was hoping I could get away with just doing the 2 negative cables.

Anyone have any more advice?

Also, what stores sell welding cable? I plan on picking some up tomorrow. Thank you

if you can wait a little for cable

you can go with

A H.O. alternator would help.

Don't you think a better battery might help more? I've never seen a car need more than a battery with only a 100.4 and around 1200 RMS, and I've helped install plenty of systems almost identical to that without any electrical problems. What kinda battery is up front? I'd put a yellow top there, see if it helps, if not, put one in the trunk, I bet it solves the problem.

yellow tops are nice, im just saying, it would help lol
