November 8, 200816 yr Some SUVs are louder with subs up/ports back. That's about the only situation I can think of where not having them on the same face has proved optimal.
November 8, 200816 yr i'll only be able to port mine either up into the opening on the rear deck or on the sides with the new setup, subs firing back. i am thinking the first choice is best
November 8, 200816 yr Author What I am tryin to do is build a box for two 15's, I'll pobably only use the setup for comps because it will take up the back half of my car, that will be part ways in the trunk with the subs and ports where the back seats are. What I wanted to do was have the subs firing up, with the ports firing towards the front of the car. or would it be best to have both goin up?
November 8, 200816 yr Author It depends, you should try all directions if you really want to competewould it be noticable to the ear, because I dont have a meter, the only place ive been able to get it metered is at comps.
