    I think you were clipping the amp or something...I had my 15 Type R in 4.3 cu ft tuned to 40Hz with 112.5 sq in of port powered with 1200 watts rms no problems...subsonic was set around 30Hz too.

    Mechanical failure due too over excursion, caused my playing under tuning. Right?
