Hey guys,

I am looking to get some more tweeters, I want a brighter sound than what I am getting now, I would also like to get some that are very smooth. I wanna test both sides of the spectrum. Could someone give me some decend ?brands?? to look into...

I also want to replace the 5x7 that are in the rear door and put some 6x9's on the rear deck, Or perhaps 6x9's in the door and some 8" in the rear deck... Anyway could you guys give me some of your thoughts on pretty decent sounding speakers that can handle some power and crank out the volume... Thx

i wouldnt put any speakers in the rear deck. that 15 could blow them to hell :suicide-santa:

There not gonna be "In" the rear deck I ment to say "on" the rear deck, I am going to try and make a fiberglass housing for them to sit on the deck :)

What's this I been reading about putting home audio speakers in the car? Is this a pretty nice move? Or think I should still look into the other speakers and tweeters

There is nothing wrong with home speakers in a car, I don't think the speakers are gonna care much!

I scoped out the RF, Eclipse, Infinity and Pioneer 6x9's ... I guess I will look into one of these...

if ur looking for a little more sq then u need to ditch the 6x9 and get a good set of 6.5's instead

I have a set of 6.5's in the front door, I was thinking of getting 5x7 for the rear doors or putting 6x9's on the rear deck.. You think I should still go for 6.5's in the back? I just want to be able to hear my highs with some authority, I will have 2 15's in the back and 2 8's up front for midbass aswell

6.5's should be used throughout.

I need to actually find something that can handle around 100 rms.... Maybe I could use these on my RF 2 channel amp, It only does around 75 @ 4 ohm, but I think the pg's were 2ohm when I looked them up.

I think I am going to get the Lanzar mid driver and some tweeters off of ebay, maybe some bullet ones for the back and dome up front...
