Gonna start the build log for this customer i'm building a box for. Here's the specs we are going for in this box.

Internal Volume: 13.006 ft^3

Port Area: 232.5 in^2

Port Tune: 31.23 hertz :)

With the max dimensions the customer wants to use, we're looking at 2.16ft^3/sub before actuall speaker displacement. This should work out right around spec to these subs.

Sub up, Port back design, pretty straight forward. It's gonna be big. lol

Currently the customer had a local shop (audio express, home of the $1 dollar wire fire) build him a box. They gave him three seperate boxes, two per box, with some really nasty tuning and build quality was horrible. I'm trying to remedy this. I'll post pics up as soon as I get a few. Stay tuned.

looking good, should put down some pretty nice numbers with those subs. they rarely disappoint for the $$$

Coming along nice, those are some really smooth cuts there.

And that box is huge, I could pretty much live in there. lol

looks like someone needs 6 icons.

I know! I conveniently built the box to just drop in ICON's at a later date :)

slick lol

are those 12"s

Here's a pic of the old set up, three seperate boxes, with some issues, build quality wasn't the greatest and the carpet job up close is horrible. Anyways, they charged him $350 for all those boxes, and my DCON's were almost as loud, and sounded much much better :)

maybe after he switches out those subs for D2's and gets rated power out of those amps. Right now each amp is seeing a total ohm load of 2.67. Rated power is at 1ohm, so these subs are only seeing about half the power those amps have.
