Just find a way to make some money and get the better sub, it would be worth it.

Dude, have your dad front the $150 and you make up the difference. Get a BL with the options. You won't regret it. IMO, upgrading an amp is simpler than upgrading a sub (if all the wiring was done properly).

Besides, a useless 15" takes up more space than a really nice amp in your closet/garage/trunk.

I was gonna get some nice seat covers and some floor mats for the car but I guess I'll put it towards the BL.

Well my dad used to be really big into car audio so that's why I think he is helping me out so much.

He wants to me to have the right stuff and to be set up right.

how much you paying for the md1d in the shop they are like 559. you can get the icon15 and 1000d for i think 550

if you want the extra money for the bl you could get one of the lanzar opti1000 from db-r for 199 still a very good amp with enough power for a bl.

if you get an opti you can wire it to .5 ohm and you can buy my dual 1 ohm Fi bl

I saw the optidrives a while back at db-r for $199 refurbished.

Well I actually built the box so I could use either 1 15 or 2 12's just whatever I decided to get.

Its almost 4 cubes after port displacement, I haven't cut the holes for the subs either.

that's a good package, you won't go wrong with them. RE used to a big forum boner, and had some outstanding products.

the ICON/sundown package(s) offered in the shop here would also be a great way to go. and would also be my choice.
