December 9, 200816 yr http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/Pr...ufacturerID=621i recomend the W3 or uplol no.Also... an "SQ" system has a helluva a lot more to do with the front stage, processing and deadening than the sub.

Last thing I would worry about in an sq system is the subwoofer. A crapload more work goes into the front stage..
December 9, 200816 yr If SQ is truly your goal, the Aura subs with underhung motors have less distortion than almost anything else you can buy.... The just cost almost $1000 for 15" The NRT 18 is a prosound woofer, but if you had room for an 8ft3 box, that would probably give you more low distortion bass with only a few hundred watts than you could get anywhere... Again, for about $1000 a pop....05' and earlier XXX subs (no longer made)Adire Brahma (no longer made)Those would be my top 3 picks of anything at any price, if SQ was truly the only goal.

December 9, 200816 yr Depends what you plan on cash-in': Best SQ would be those ones: Aura Sound NRT (believe it would make a nice home theater sub, rumbling is excellent, no more, no less) Focal Utopia Be 33WX2 (more efficient than most 12s which is a +) Dynaudio Esotar

He said he wanted an SQ system, and the sub counts for about 5% there.

I havent picked the vehicle yet thought..lol. in your opinion whats your top 5 sq subs and why?As far as I know, sound quality refers to accurate reproduction of the WHOLE spectrum. Hhaving a good sounding sub + amp combo, a good head unit and stock front speakers doesn't mean you have an "SQ setup".
December 11, 200816 yr Since you are starting with subs, I severely doubt that an SQ system is what you want. If it was that would be the LAST thing you were worried about.
December 14, 200816 yr how are MB Quart as far as SQ goes, compared to these other subs?Did you have a specific model in mind?
