Goals: I'm not hung up on numbers. Generally speaking I'm looking for considerably more output than what I have currently

I left adequate room for additional batteries. I designed the box so it could be removed if need be.

You should check out an Ascendant Audio Havoc 12. They have really good sound in my opinion and LOTS of low end.

I would recommend another BL and an upgrade to 2 1500's or a 3000D.

indeed pick up another d2 bl... and another 1500 and strap that love up!

^^^ Jon up there could tell you a direct swap from 15" BL's to Nightshades yielded more output. I have Nightshade fever right now...Get one

Thanks for the input guys. I know that essentially doubling my setup now will definitely yield more output and probably rattle my fillings out. I still have a couple questions though. Please keep in mind that this is my daily driver, and my goals are somewhere in the mid 140's.

1.) What electrical upgrades are necessary/recommended if I go with a 2nd BL and 1500d? I'm assuming I would be fine just adding something like a kinetik 2400 in the rear, but I just want to be sure.

2.) Would there be a significant difference in output between say (2) SSD's on 1500w, or (2) BL's on 3000w? (Assuming the same vehicle, same head unit/front stage, and same box - 3.8cubes @ 33hz) I'm not trying to split hairs over 3-4 db's if it's going to end up costing me an additional $600 by the time I get the 2nd amp and battery setup properly.

Have you thought about a single 15 BTL on a SAZ 3000d? just a thought more cone area then what you have now and twice the power, should yield favorable results. Just a thought.

I thought about it, but I'm a cheap ass.

I decided to bite the bullet and purchase another BL and 1500d. I will start a build thread within a few days.
