does paypal require to ask for tracking number when you selling something and trying to get the money??

some mother**** is telling me that paypal needs tracking number to send me the money is this true?

Why not send the tracking number if your selling? When i sent money it didn't need tracking number.

Don't ship the item until the e-check is cleared.

That doesn't sound like a typical Paypal message... (I use PP all the time) E-checks are common... nothing wrong with that type of transaction. The payment will show cleared in your account when it has.

when you ship make sure and select "Adult Signature Required" for shipping options.. That way your covered under Paypal's policy.

it sounds like a scam. he's basically asking you to send the package before he pays for it. That "paypal" message sounds fake.

Paypal messages use proper English and do not have grammatical or spelling errors as this message does

the normal message for this type of transaction should read

something more like... (I'm on dial up here at work otherwise I'd copy and paste a real PP msg for you.)

You have a Pending E-check from "user name" in the amout of "amount". Please do not ship item until the E-check has cleared.

It's a scam.

And also, if his name really is Trevor Lewis i would report him to paypal for fraud.

I had something similar done to. Someone had accessed another person's account and bought a few things from me and requested that I ship to a different address than on file (different state), they tried to pay via-Echeck and insured that the payment was good.... but it never cleared.

I say it's a scam. Paypal always adresses to you with your name, not with "Dear customer".

i copied it and pasted it...i didnt change nothing at all...thats the message i have in my email..

well alot of people are going to scam around this time of the year. dont ship it. and dont sell it to him

just get on paypal on there chat thing and ask them. i always do that when there is something suspicious when im ready to send stuff

oh an check the email address from where it was sent from you might notice something different from the real paypal email
