i have stock electrical, just one 4 gauge run to my alpine pdx 1.600 amp (600rms, 730 peak), but my gauges/instruments dim down to about 50% and my headlights dim terribly. will the big three in 1/0 or 2 gauge solve this problem? i have a 2003 vw passat, im pretty sure my alt does 90 amps..

have your alt tested first! chek your grounds, and make sure your connecting on your cell is good....

how big off a cell is in there anyhow?

I used to have a VW Golf and I had a JBL BP 1200.1 (1200rms) pushing a pioneer TS -121SPL and had almost no dimming. Both cars have simmilar electrical systems if not the same so I think you should check your alt and/or battery.
