I plan to wire my sub to my amp like this,

DVC_Parallel_1.gif

My question is, would it be the same if i ran 1 positive wire out of 1 positive terminal on the amp into 1 positive terminal on the voice coil and the other positive terminal on the amp to the other positive terminal on the other voice coil and the same for the negative?

it would be a waste of wire to do that. Its easier to just run the jumpers from each voice coil to another

it would be the same the outputs are the same post just two hookups so it will still show up as the same load to the amp

what are you trying to wire it to? 1ohm

no telling he did not list the v/c value,

its weird i see you give EVERY one advice, but in the last week i have seen you ask THE sillyest questions.

how to run an amp kit,

and how to wire your sub to your amp.

ok i saw in your other thread you have an icon D2. heres some wiring options.

1ohm load

1_2ohm_dvc_1ohm.gif

4ohm load

1_2ohm_dvc_4ohm.gif

should be very simple.

haha times twooooo what bigjon said, are you just trying to wire parallel for 1 ohm? that amp has internally bridged channels.
