Posted December 25, 200816 yr Right now i am looking around at different subs for the new set-up. I have never owned nor heard any tc sounds based subs. found the axis's , but have limited knowledge about them. I'm looking at the 12" version. How good are they compared to others in their price range( approx. 300.00 shipped). Any drawbacks, etc. I have 1 SAZ-1500 and am getting a 2nd for power. As far as what I''m looking for is loud daily that sounds great. Tried a search on the forum here and get an IPS error. Just waying options right now.And thanks in advance.Toolmaker
December 25, 200816 yr Okay, so you have 3000watts. Are you looking for a single, or double 12 set up?
December 25, 200816 yr if i were you id jump on that deal. thats the sale price on PE. regular around 650 i think. Ive got a 15 axis being powered by a saz3000, i love it, the only problem ive seen so far is customer support sucks. Ive tried to get in touch with audiopulse and they never answer there phones or reply to my emails. But if you get the axis youll get loud and it will still sound great too. and if i were you id go with a saz 3000 instead of 2 1500s the one one PE is a quad 1 ohm. so you you couldnt run full power out of 2 1500s unless you put 1/2 ohm load on each amp.again, jump on that deal. i got my 15 then a few months later they went on sale for 350 and i got another without even havin to debate about it.
December 25, 200816 yr Author I was looking at 2 of them. So i take it that 1500 watts each won't do these any good? I know they are rated at 2500rms, but should have asked is 1500 enough.
December 25, 200816 yr yea 1500 on each would work good, i used a hifonics bx1608 on mine for a few months before i got my electrical upgraded for my sundown.
