anyone ever heard an 18" brahma? Im going to get a 15 brahma reconed to an 18, with flatwind aluminum 4 layer coil. What kind of box would i be looking at? I was thinking of 7cf tuned to 32 hz, Off 1200 watts. IF anyone has any input it would be apreciated. Im wanting an 18, and i have a blown brahma. Brahma is known to be a low end monster but an 18 brahma should be awsome right? or am i wasting my money

As far as I have heard, the specs could be impractical :(

Search for "Brahma recone" in the FI forum. I know that's where I read about it.

i think i remember something like that too, But i think it had something to do with box size, I can fit any box pretty much (i have a crown victoria) But i dunno, Can you give me a link to that? for some reason i cant search this board. Seems like it would work, I mean the brahma motor should be strong enough for an 18" cone, thing is massive. But i dont have a very clear understanding of t/s parameters and how speakers work.

btw, im probably going to get incriminator audio to do it, They have the aluminum coils
