March 23, 200916 yr I am a ford fan boy... but really? It's not hideous, but someone else here hit the nail on the head. It's not a 30k car. I strickly beleive the most someone should pay for Mustang is under 20k. I drove a little '09 stang while in cali. It wasn't a GT, but I was still mad with how little you got for your money. I love how cheep you can get a used stang for and then strap on horsepower untill the cows come home though.WTF. And why that color?
June 6, 200916 yr only thing i have really liked since the early 70's is the fox body (87-93) and the 99-04's
June 6, 200916 yr Yeah, that is even uglier than the last version... NOW... get the front clip of the '05-'09 on the '99-'04 and i would buy one in a second! The fronts of the '99-'04 really do remind me a lot of teh old mustangs

June 8, 200916 yr ford and chevy have faild it bringing back the retro lookthe challenger is pure sex on wheels!I do like the Challenger best, but you can't argue the sales figures on the Mustang. Neither the Camaro, nor the Charger will be able to compete with it in sales;,in fact, they never have.sorry..but neither the new challenger, or mustang looka s good as the new camaro up close and in person. i didn't think i'd like the new camaro, that is until i saw one. i even pulled the damn thing over, lol, but got a text as i took a pic of my squad behind it....but up close and in person, the new camaro is pure sex, and next to the new challanger, it's even sexier. three things wrong with the new camaro...1: steering wheel is way too busy2: engine plastic is way too big3: headrests look like a robots headotherwise, i'm thinking as they become more available, one will find itself in my garage.and the new mustangs look weird in person...i like the 05-09's better. i think tirefryr nailed it..wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
June 8, 200916 yr Old topic, but apparently I missed this first time around.Well they definitely didn't do themselves any favors with that color. Why try to tone down such a beast with that wuss color? Doesn't make sense. They softened some of the lines from the previous years, which kinda sucks. I like the more rugged look that they had.As for 30k, I dunno, that seems ok to me. At least riding in my friend's '08 GT makes me think it's ok. But I haven't ridden in many 30k+ cars. The camaro coupes are sweet, but I think that the convertibles look stupid with the top down because the door gets shorter towards the back then raises over a higher wheel well. Reminiscent of some of the '70s cars, I know, but I don't like their look either.

It never does. When the 93 came out, they outsold them, and it quickly went to shit. The Mustang has proven since its inception that it will always be THE ponycar of America.
