2 part question, lol.

1). I'll be getting an '05 Chevy crewcab next week sometime, and I was wondering if it's possible to get 2.5 cubes anywhere from behind/under the rear seat?

2). If not, I may consider a blow through. The problem is I dont want to cut a big hole. What effect on tuning would building a box like this?

I don't see any problem with getting 2.5 cubes under the seat in the Crew, you may have to raise the seats an inch or two though - not sure how tall the front face will be without raising it. I'm guessing you want to put (2) 10's under the seat?

One question - buckets or bench in the front? You can easily get almost 4 cubes between the seats if you have a center console you don't mind replacing with a custom fabbed box.

To answer the #2 question if you were to cut a smaller hole and build a "tunnel" into the cab it would work but would technically be a bandpass enclosure. It would work out best if you could tune the "tunnel" to work with your other ported enclosure to form a 6th order series tuned bandpass and could output a huge gain if done correctly.

Any info on doing something like that? I can build a "standard" ported enclosure, but i've never tried a bandpass/6th order before.

I don't think you can get 2.5 under or behind the seat. You might have to do a blow through design if you do not want to remove the seats. If you had less of a tunnel it wouldn't be so much a bandpass box. If you had something like this it would be better. Something closer into the cab. I see you are a fellow Floridian.
