January 12, 200916 yr For what Maybe so you can buy that other stuff????Upgrade your front battery. When you have more $$$ buy a second one for the rear. Then when you have more $$$ buy an alternator.

January 13, 200916 yr i know you have stated you dont care what i know.. or somthing like that... but what i would do is the following... big three run of 0 gauge.. or 4 at the least...leave the stock battery under the hood... and buy a sealed battery for the trunk.... get a voltage meter for your car... thats the least... then as you save up get a alt.... the voltage meter is kind of a must at this point..because having such a small alt you need to keep your voltage above 11...and that will require YOU to make changes while driving.. IE turning it down at stop lights witch i hope you do anyway.. but also the a/c or heater will suck voltage and amps.. leaving your cells empty if your not watching....
January 16, 200916 yr Author thanks bigjon, great help, i did say that i didnt care about what you said, but it sounded like you left a smarta$$ response, but whatever...i DO turn my stuff down at lights, in neighbor hoods..voltage meter... like a multimeter?Anyways, now that the big3 is done, it seems like the car has a bit harder time starting.... all the connections are good, whats goin on?and what battery should i put in the rear? Optima? Deka? Kinetik?thankyou very much for helping
January 20, 200916 yr Author ok, fo now, what should i set my amp's gain at? 3V or 4V?and what battery in the rear? Edited January 20, 200916 yr by sandsnip3r
January 20, 200916 yr so your car is not starting the same anymore??? if thats the case then you may have a week battery or perhaps your alt is shoing signs of failure... get them both tested... as dar as the battery in the back it really depends on budget and goals.. and its work load..
January 20, 200916 yr Author ok, the car starting this is gone, its fine now...But for battery in the rear.....,depends on budget and goals.. and its work load..budget... ~$750 left so far, so say $250 on speakers, amp, and wiring for that.so ~$500 for anything electrical or deadeninggoals.... im just trying to beat my old 2 15" alpine type R's (sealed, ~500RMS a peice)not trying to get INSANE LOUD, but as loud as i can without doing anything excessive....Workload..... Hifonics Bxi2608D, 15" FI BTL fully loaded, in a 2000 Hyundai sonata.~30Min of music a day, on and off(street lights, neighbor hoods)
January 20, 200916 yr do you plan to get a bigger amp in the near future?if not... do you live in a big city or a decent size city?
