January 22, 200916 yr Author I'll take LOTS of pics... and not just for people to see but for me to know where the hell everything came from When I tear down and there's an odd bolt or screw I take a picture of the screw/bolt at the location that it came out of, that way I know where the heck it goes. Right now every bolt/screw from the explorer is in a baggy sorted by location/what it came out/off of... I'm trying to steer clear of extra parts on this one
January 23, 200916 yr Author ahhh, my buddy with the shop called yesterday.... He needs to pay his power bill so now he'll do it... he quoted roughly 300-400 for the install.... He said it should take just about a day.. funny how the need of money changes people's minds.... He's in a bad spot at the moment so I'll probably have him do it... to help him out and to save me the aggrevation And on the positive side if it only takes a day that means I can start my build that much sooner the sundown equipment is itchin' to get installed... I got my 3000d two days ago
January 23, 200916 yr Author on the positive note at lunch today my boss opened up my truck and set in a present.... an Odyssey PC2150S Battery it's a $300+ batt.. he said I might as well have it before someone steals it off the shelf Our business has been real slow and the workers are pretty know for "losing" things... they steal the batts and sell them... You'd be amazed at the number of batts we "lose" in one month
January 23, 200916 yr Author I bet ur wife wishes u had the same problem with vehicles.J**Notice the "for sale" by the two vehicles.... Also notice I chose the two that are least likly to sell And She's not my wife... (she's not even living in my home)I've got some serious commitment issues... please refer to list of stereo projects that have been altered and not finished **seriously though she's gotta finish up her degree before she's settling down... This last civic was kinda the "last straw" with her though... She's finally on the "why do you have 5 cars when you can only drive one... I get the truck and a car but what the hell?" In her defense I do have two 2 good gas milage cars, 2 4 wheel drives and one "sports car".... she only suggest the reduction of one 4x4 and one economy car. so I keep a toy, a winter car and my car to drive to work.. that's my defense...

February 10, 200916 yr Author Well... Dropped the EXPO off on Sunday night... My buddy got it in his shop 8a.m. yesterday and was done at 5p.m. yesterday.... He da man! He said it was a real B.... and that the whole heater core was rotted out... the entire box was full of Anti-freeze all the way to the top..So Back to building..... well after Carl Caspers... the civic's stereo is already in motion...
