The battery that I have now is a Autocraft Silver.. It says on the top something like crank amps at 32 degrees is 935

Think I'll be good, or should I get a yellowtop to put under the hood?

Hook it all up and see what your voltage is..

If its dropping that bad try and get a bigger battery..

Yeah, I haven't installed yet so I don't know if it'll drop bad or not...

You might not even need another battery or anything..

Just hook everything up and see what your voltage is at then decide..

Instead of buying a yellow tip now and later you dont even need it..

Im just telling you what I would do..

A nice powermaster 2400 up front would be great

How much do the powermaster's run?

What is bad for a voltage drop?

If it drops below 12?

Edit: after looking at the specs, that's not really that great.... my local parts supplier got me a dual post 825cca battery with a 110 ah capacity...... for $85.

I was thinking the 3100 series.
