im getting audioque 15inch alum coiled

and my amp is

Hifonics BXI2008D 2000-Watt Super D-Class Brutus Amp 1-Channel Mono-Block

with 5.0 frad cap

so i wonder what gauge wire size i should get for it?.. silver or copper? or what?

I think you should have saved some money & bought the copper coils. People normally buy the aluminum when putting over 2.5k+ RMS into it.

That Hifonics is only going to put like 1600ish in it maybe? I don't know, someone else could tell you.

Anyways, what do you mean by wire size? Do you mean power wire or speaker wire? If speaker wire, I say go w/ some Knu Kasa 10awg wire.

If power wire, just get some Knu flex 1/0.

BTW, I would suggest getting an extra battery in the back vs a capacitor if you can afford it. Also, have you done the Big 3?

Yes, the alum. coils are better but you really don't need them. You could buy the copper coils & save some money to buy wiring. Most ppl will tell you, that if you're not putting over 2k RMS in one, stick w/ the copper. Now, if you plan on upgrading your amp after a while then get alum or just get it if you prefer 100% American parts.
