The local Circuit City is going out of business, they have all their car audio stuff marked down 40%. They've got a few Kicker ZX750.1 amps, originally $500..... and you math wizards have already figured out that they are now only $300.

Rated at 750rms at 2 ohms, are they stable into a lower load? Like 1.6 (5 Dual 4ohm coil subs in series/parallel? 1.33 (3 4ohm subs in parallel)? Do they put out more than their rated power?

With impedance and box rise you will be over 2 ohms. 1.6 is only nominal, you will almost never get that low.

Kicker amps are excellent! I have never had a problem with them, I only wish they were 1 ohm stable but you can't have everything.

You can still find the 750.1 cheaper online with a warranty. My 750.1 birthsheet was 874.

I run my kickers at less than one ohm daily ;)

good amps but CC better drop their priced more... You can get it cheapier online with a warranty...

I LOVE my SX 900.4

I have seen a ZX2500.1 drop to 1ohm..... beat the crap out of the subs too
