I know everyone's going to be like after reading this but please bare with me. I have a Pioneer 800prs and 3sixty.2 that I want to use together for a 3way + sub active setup. I'm just looking for the best way to hook them up to eachother.

Alright, the 3sixty.2 allows 50hz-10khz on the front and rear outputs and 50hz-200hz on the sub output. Center will not be utilized unless later on I feel like adding a light rear fill (mono). The 3sixty also allows Bandpass, HP, LP, and Bypass on the front and rear outputs and LP only on the sub output. The 3sixty has a 31-band EQ for the Front Channels, 27-band EQ for the Rear and Center channels, and a 10-band EQ for the subwoofer.

The Pioneer unit has 25hz-250hz for LP (Sub Outputs), the mid has a HP (Front Outputs) of 25hz with a LP of 12.5khz, and the HP (Rear Outputs) goes from 1.25khz-12khz. The Mid (Front Outputs) for the xover/slope allows a Pass through, which I think means Full Range?

I want as much tuning ability as possible. Here's a couple different configurations I came up with but I don't really know which one would work best. In all the configurations I decided to send the Front Outputs of the Pioneer to the 3sixty because it would send it a Full Range signal (?).

(1) Pioneer Front Output to the 3sixty Front Input.....3sixty Front Output to Midrange Amp....3sixty Rear Output to Midbass Amp....Pioneer or 3sixty Sub Output to Sub Amp? If I go from the 3sixty Sub Output I would run the Pioneer Sub Output to the 3sixty Sub Input....Pioneer Rear Output (HP) directly to Tweeter Amp

(2) Pioneer Front Output to the 3sixty Front Input.....Pioneer Rear Output (HP) to 3sixty Rear Input....Pioneer Sub Output directly to Midbass Amp.....3sixty Front Output to Midrange Amp.....3sixty Rear Output to Tweeter Amp....3sixty Sub Output to Sub Amp

The primary issue I see is what frequency range does the Pioneer HU send through the front and/or rear outputs? If the 3sixty.2 doesn't receive any of the lower frequencies, how can it send the proper signal to the sub amp?

I'm doing something similar with my JVC HU: front outputs go to my Kenwood 6042EQ, rear outputs are set to subwoofer low-pass at 120hz and down to a small mono amp, pushing a pair of 10's in my center console, works very well to anchor the front stage. The Kenwood's front and rear outputs are to a 4-channel amp (w/ a HP crossover @ 100 hz) driving my front and rear speakers, while the subwoofer output runs to my larger sub amp (crossover @ 50Hz), pushing my 15's in the rear. I have independent control of both the 10's and the 15's this way.

That was my original idea but they're really hard to get now and I couldn't find any. Plus it was a little more expensive. The Pioneer and Rockford unit should work though.

The Front Outputs of the Pioneer can be bypassed to send a full range signal, that's why I'm intent on sending the Front Pioneer Outputs to the 3sixty. I guess it just depends in whether I want to have more EQ on the midbass or my tweeters.

i think the best way would be to use the HP output of the pioneer to set for tweeter and use the mid output of the pioneer for for a band pass and then use the 3sixty to divide the pioneer's bandpass freq. for mid and woofer outputs. im doing the same to my 9887 dividing the high out using a audiocontrol 2xs thus making a bandpass for the mid.HTH
