February 5, 200916 yr Author i am not sure i dont have the power to try it so i guess we will see in about 2 months, could it still work?
February 5, 200916 yr If one of the mosfets from the second pic is charred (looks like it to me, but the picture is hideous), the amp is definately blown.

February 6, 200916 yr no clue man... CIA charged me 160.. for a buncha work on my goliath. but it took a long time!
February 6, 200916 yr Author well i really appreciate your help is it a blown mosfet as the other said beacuse i dont want to pay for something that isent blown
February 6, 200916 yr well that could have led to other problems in the amp.. or other problems caused it... thats why its best to send it to someone who is trusted and skilled.
February 6, 200916 yr Author yeah well im sure alot of people would say alot more needs fixed for more cash ya know but hopefully who ever i send it to is honest, rockford fosgate wants $450 to repair my amp
February 6, 200916 yr but im sure i can tell you why your mosfets failed.......not enough power son!....
February 6, 200916 yr Author mhmm figured that i guess i should have waited to get my setup finished to test it
February 6, 200916 yr im def not ina big town but db-r does not work on t3001bd i emailed them and they said that they do not work on them, doyou know any differnt ones that are backed up on hereCheck these guys too: http://www.amprepaircenter.com/no clue man... CIA charged me 160.. for a buncha work on my goliath. but it took a long time! That was actually CHEAP. Mosfets in big Zenon boards aren't cheap. well i really appreciate your help is it a blown mosfet as the other said beacuse i dont want to pay for something that isent blownThey will probably replace all the mosfets from the power supply section (looks like that to me). Failures can be caused by a lot of things, there may be problems in the amp section too. RF has their own "labeled" parts..which is why some amp repair shops don't want to work on them
