Welp guys....

The install im doing i would like to incorporate the sub between the amps

[amp][amp]

If I make the enclosure 14x14x14 i have the perfect amount of space.

Just enough for the sub and just enough to fit between both amps.

The box will be polyfilled, but should I do the 14x14x14 cube ?

Its not like the kid needs as much SPL as he can get, just something with a lil umph.

the only problems with cubic boxes are standing waves and uber cancellation because of the equi-distant walls. But thats not really applicable in real world apps for lots of reasons. Mainly, the basket, motor, wiring will all interefere and break up the waves ever so slightly (thnk ripple effect). Also, with a lil polyfill you can break it up just fine.

Get er done.

Standing wave will not develope inside the enclosure unless it is HUGE. Remember there must be enough room inside the enclosure for the wave to fully form. Not going to happen with subbass. I once thought this way myself. Then I did some more research.
