Posted February 17, 200916 yr I am wondering if the Mach 5 SPL-12s would be any good in a T-Line?T/S Parameters Fs = 42.9 Hz Re = 3.8 Ohms Qes = 0.32 Qms = 2.35 Qts = 0.28 Mms = 258.5 g Rms = 29.6 kg/s Cms = 0.053 mm/N VAS = 14.1 litres Sd = 433.7 cm2 BL = 28.7 Xmax = 17 mmI have been told they should be good, but the fs is sorta high. I am planning on doing this with my camper shellbut with a different box... the box can run the length of my truck... I plan to make up some metal frame for the box to sit on inside the bed. Having the box above the floor will give me room for my air ride when that gets installed..
February 17, 200916 yr not too good for a t-line. Qts,qms, and qes are too low. Not saying it won't work...but not optimal for t-line
February 19, 200916 yr They would work well in a 40 hz tapped horn That's what I planned on doing with mine but I don't have nearly enough room and I don't feel like making a folded design.
