Posted February 20, 200916 yr So I have been trying to contact FI by e-mail since I can't find a number and I am getting no response. Are they just really busy?
February 20, 200916 yr Yeah right after you send an e-mail to them you get an automated e-mail back saying......"thank you for your email. Currently we are experiencing VERY high email volume and are somewhat delayed in our responses. If your email is concerning an order placed but not received, or changes to a current order, please contact [email protected].If your email is concerning a recone for Fi or other companies products, please contact [email protected]We apologize for the delays and thank you for your patience."
February 20, 200916 yr Author I got that but I had a few questions before ordering, so how do I do that
February 20, 200916 yr Author ok. I was thinking of running a fi setup on a american bass vfl 400.1 and my box will have aero ports tuned to like 33hz but i will have other ports to change those out tuned to 38 so i can burp in meca. I was thinking of running 4 ssd 12's but someone suggested for me to save some money and do 2 fully loaded bl 15's. I have never delt with FI so not sure what to do. I was also looking into 2 re mt 15's used for $500 but don't think they will hit lows like I like
February 20, 200916 yr i dont know much about those amps, are they true to there wattage saying its 4gs? and idk you could almost go with 2 btls if its true have you thought about that?
February 20, 200916 yr Author The amp is pretty tue but i would say after imp rise probably 3200-3500 rms. My biggest thing is money. I need to stay close to 700 or so becauase my hours at work got cut so I am just going off what I made from selling my last system
February 20, 200916 yr then depending on the size of your car why not two 18" bls or even q's fully loaded is under 700$ for sure
February 20, 200916 yr Author i have a 05 nissan pathfinder. so i was trying to do like 8-9 cubes so i have room for batts and all
February 20, 200916 yr Personally AQ HDC3 15"s > Fi BL 15"SWith the aluminum coils, which will take 3k clean power, $740 total for 2 shipped. With the copper coils, which will take 2000 rms each easy, $578 for 2 shipped.
February 20, 200916 yr the hdcs, which dds do they compare to? the 3515 or 9515The 9515"s. Essentially the same woofer, AQ just uses Chines parts, and DD uses American.
February 20, 200916 yr Author How well do they sound on music as far as hitting lows like 35 and below
February 20, 200916 yr 2 HDC3 15"s getting 1100 rms each. Notice windshield wipers. Edited February 20, 200916 yr by bassahaulic
February 20, 200916 yr Yup. That would work fine. I would use the "DD port" it works really well with all DD and AQ woofers.
February 20, 200916 yr Author I am going to do aeros so I can tune low and change them out with differrent ones tuned higher to go to meca
February 20, 200916 yr Author Yeah but like I said I really like lows like below 35 so i was planning to tune to 33 for music
February 20, 200916 yr Trust me.... tuned to 37 with the right port can drop plenty LOWLow note in that is like 25, the box is tuned to 37. These are DD 9515"s. I have personally worked on the box, and it gets nice and low. Edited February 20, 200916 yr by bassahaulic
