Alright well I am about to put it in the box and I know I have to drill the surround so I can drill the screws in there. Should I remove that sticker on the bottom of the sub?

And are there any specific ways to drill it?

Is there anything else I should do when putting it in the box?

If the holes in the surround arent lined up with the holes in the basket, use a knife or something to cut it out. dont drill it

Oh? I meant drill from the bottom up then put the surround back on. You know, through the holes that are already there?

But if a knife is better I'll do that

Your talkin about this right?

If so, take the gasket off. Then cut out the holes with a knife

yep that.

Okay, I'll cut the holes with a knife through the bottom up to be safe since I can see the hole.

Anything else I have to prepare? Like I read somewhere that the sticker on the bottom of the magnet is just a production sticker...

Ye you can leave the sticker on i believe

mmk sounds good

thanks for the help!

np :)

The reason you don't want to drill through the foam is the drill bit can actually twist the foam and pull it up from the basket. And as far as the sticker and what not, it's your choice to leave it or take it off.
