Posted February 26, 200916 yr So here's the question, i just got my saz-1500d in the mail yesterday, and there is a bass knob.. i only really see noobs with one. so are they worth it, i always just tossed them. if i was to turn it up all the way would it start clipping my amp or will it only raise my gain to where it is at on my amp? i have no problem turning down the sub on my headunit. February 26, 200916 yr its not a bass knob.. its a remote gain... it does not exceed your setting only gives the option to reduce your gain from your max setting to a lower setting... i use mine... not only do i use it i love it... i think all sundown users do:D
February 26, 200916 yr When you set your gain on your amplifier, have that knob set to max. This allows you to turn down the bass, but not turn it up too far. A lot of people use these in that manor.
