So here's the question, i just got my saz-1500d in the mail yesterday, and there is a bass knob.. i only really see noobs with one. so are they worth it, i always just tossed them. if i was to turn it up all the way would it start clipping my amp or will it only raise my gain to where it is at on my amp? i have no problem turning down the sub on my headunit.

its not a bass knob.. its a remote gain...

it does not exceed your setting only gives the option to reduce your gain from your max setting to a lower setting...

i use mine... not only do i use it i love it... i think all sundown users do:D

When you set your gain on your amplifier, have that knob set to max. This allows you to turn down the bass, but not turn it up too far. A lot of people use these in that manor.
