May 15, 200916 yr Author Well.......I got laid off for a little while and that was a kick in the nuts finacially.With two kids to feed I was geared towards, well, I'll be honest, true panic mode...I was a little worried about having to start to sell off my material items just to survive..Long story short,I'm back at work. (for now)It's back to trying to chip away at the details.I want to make the show in Indy this June 19th weekend.I think it's only a db drag,which I 'll prob. get slaughtered in.. (I've never competed)Any words of wisdom from y'all vets would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!!!I'll have some new updated pics and hopefully a video up soon.These Icons are F'n insaine subwoofers!!I've never heard notes so clear in my life!!!I need to get my dang windshield fixed badly!!A sticker might make me feel a little better...LOL
May 16, 200916 yr Author More pics I took....This is where I mounted the Punch EQOK...Here's where it's still a work in progress...Old battery bracket....Allthread looks so tacky...I have this to replace what's under there.It's 10ga. polished stainless steel,I still need to mark and bend up.This will also be replaced by a new stainless plate instead of plexi.Still fishing for some advice on the comp thing....

Don't get too intimidated, it's really not that big of a deal. It's all in fun.

Try dbdrag and bassrace, you'll have a great time either way i'm sure.

May 19, 200916 yr MAn that looks like a fun truck for sure! I too have never been to any kind of competitions and living here in Indy I wouldn't have a clue as to what to expect or what to play. Are there rules or how to sheets somewhere? A bass race? Db Drags? Which ones can you stay in the car on. I remember going to Iasca events 15 years ago and it seemed they were looking at the quality of the install, which seems more important I would think. HMMMM? i would like to see the truck though!
May 20, 200916 yr Author The best info I've found on the rules for each is found on www.soundoff.orgAs long as I can get my windshield replaced in time I'll be there...I'm trying to work as many hours as they'll let me but, mywork has cut hours due to lack of work...I got off work at 12:30 today so, that puts a damper on the paycheck....That being said, I had some time to play with the truck today!A few unfinished pics....I'm about half way done with this...I think the finished product will be way moreappealing to the eye.I hope to light the inside with blue neon,then replace that with LED in the future.
