ok....i have one of the 12" dvc power bass xtreme subs......is there anyway to tell if i have the dual one ohm or dual 2 ohm subs??? any markings or anything like that? dont have a multimeter so i cant exactly test for myself

y not jsut pick up a cheap dmm from wally world? they are like $15.....and handyer then hell!

therer should be a sticker on the basket it should either say SX1D for the ohm or XS1D1 for the 1 ohm

nope.....no handy sticker....got it from a buddy of mine and it looks like he removed it......anything else?

nope.....no handy sticker....got it from a buddy of mine and it looks like he removed it......anything else?

damn it, I hate it when that happens, looks like it is time to get that DVOM or DMM......I personally use the Fluke 88, but it is like a 460 dollar meter, any elcheapo will vork just for checking ohmage, although cheapers ones are less accuate, but you can pick em up for arounf $15 at wally world or radioactive shack.

I would really suggest getting a decent one if you are planning on doing more car audio wise. ;)

yea i know......jus didnt want to have to buy one right now...used to have like 4 or 5 of em...but my dogs destroyed them and i havent gotten another one since considering my wife at the time hated me doing anything to do w/ car audio
