I'm stuck between these two setups??

i want the best spl and sq possible... i will be putting these in a sealed box around 2.4 cubic feet per chamber..i cannot fit a ported box for 15"s in my car!!

so which will it be? 2 15" Fi Q's or 2 15" memphis mojo's

the amp i have is a titanium 2400 1ohm stable!!

which Mojos are you talking about??

the old school orange m3 mojo's the one's that handle 1000rms and 2000peak

Well iirc the mojo was never meant to be sealed. A single ported mojo would handle 2000 watts if you know what you are doing.

Q's sealed would work.

A single btl or hdc3 would also be a good choice if youre trying to get loud.

You can get to a moderately high volume and retain decent listenable quality. It may not be a sound quality set-up, but it will retain enough sound quality to listen to daily and not fatigue your ears. That is what is meant by LOUD SOUND QUALITY. Argue about it all you want, but MOST end users are not looking for a specific spl set-up or a specific sq set-up. MOST people want an acceptable middle ground between the two.

That being said he listed the mojos as being acceptable to his ears and they sound horrendous by any standards.

I guess we all have out own opinion on loud as well. I would consider 155+ db on music loud.

I would consider anything from 130-150 a loud daily car. At these high levels permanent hearing damage will happen gradually. My truck is in the low fortys and I have a permanent ringing as is.

You can NOT get loud and SQ. LAWD people

i believe my Q is ported is pretty loud and sounds great. so yes.. its possible.

it might not make your ears bleed or anything but it is pretty loud.

Like I said, we all have our own idea of loud. =)

sealed and mojo shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence. and mojo shouldn't be considered for anything remotely sounding good. also, best spl and sealed don't go together. you might want to look into a single ported 15 vs two sealed ones, otherwise, of your two options, grab the Qs.

155+ on music is a definition of loud? most people won't/can't/ are smart enough to NOT sit in a vehicle doing 155+. that is INSTANT hearing damage. and just plain stupid. a good loud DD would be high 30's, low 40's, and even that is loud enough to hurt one ears.

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :slayer:
