oh yeah, well its not from me a friend has both amps and i was wondering beacuse i know rockford makes a better amp but i wasent surea bout that one

I can't believe I'm saying this but this time I say Hifonics. O_O

The reason being, the Rockford is only rated for 600rms, then Hifonics is rated for 1200. Maxxonics standard is to produce within 10% of rated power. Even if it is at the wrong end of that at producing 10% less then rated power that is still 1080 rms.

i still dont see budget or goals.

the budget is 0, hes not looking for buying new amps just wich one would perform better, he was thinking about selling his hifonics for like 300 on craigslist beause people buy chit way over priced on there sometimes but i guess you could say 300 for an amp and everything is already installed, not sure of the box dmentions i didnt build it a friend of mine did but i know its tuned to 32 hz and its about 9 cuft

EDIT- oh and i forgot to add there is no plan to upgrade elctrical, he has all 4awg with one kinetic hc 1400

well iom open for any other suggestions for around that same price range. he is happy with it now. but he said he is getting used to it so maybe an amp upgrade would change it up a bit

SAZ-3500 should do?

Is he looking for the sub to get alot louder? Or a deeper sound? or what?

ok so the last post was not me i left my name signed on here so he is jsut posting chit and its pissing me off, but im over the rockfrod hifonics deal. waht would be a good amp for around 300-350 without an electrical; upgrade

#1 The morre power you get, the louder you can play until you blow the sub

#2 You don't need electrical upgrades to run any amplifier, you need an electrical upgrade if you will be consuming more wattage than your stock electrical system can produce.... And this has nothing to do with the type of amplifier or how large it is, it depends on how much power you ask the amplifier(s) to produce..

#3 There is no such thing as underpowering.... Ever... Some tool made this up...

#4 You get what you pay for.....
