March 12, 200916 yr What are your goals ? What kind of power are you using ? What will you use them for ?

March 13, 200916 yr HCCA's are power hungry.they were made by Tc sounds/audiopulse, and are similar to say an eclipse ti, which is also TC product.on 1600rms... a havoc, Fi bl, ssa icon, ect. would be better... in a single sub setup.one sub? two? size? how much space to work with?

I didn't know that. The 9500 should be pretty efficient and has proven itself, so out of what you listed, I'd pick the 9500. What is your budget ?
March 21, 200916 yr HCCA's are good sub's but are very power hungry, weigh 100-120 pouns a piece and cost more than the DD subs..and to be honest the DD9515's will be louder!but it's what you choose and it's your money, just my 2 cents
March 22, 200916 yr More than digital designs? i seen 15s for 400 12s for 375 and 10s for 200 on a certain website
March 23, 200916 yr The Audioque HDC3's are built solid and actually sound pretty decent in the right ported enclosure. With a true 1600wrms... the alum coils would be needed. However, when testing the bxi1206 and 1606...I was hardpressed to get within 20% of rated power.
March 23, 200916 yr who has experience with both speakers or know anything about the HCCAThe new HCCA's are beasts. Out of those choices I'de choose those.
March 23, 200916 yr Im not a huge fan of the HCCA's. In my opion the old orion h2's sound better and the dd 9500 also sound better with music. I may be kinda biased because im in love with ported enclosures and the hcca that i played around with was in a sealed enclosure
March 23, 200916 yr http://www.orioncaraudio.com/Support/Manua...Subs%202007.pdfhttp://www.ddaudio.com/dd/caraudio/DD_woof...sp?series=9500gthe Fs on the 12/15" HCCAs is around 23Hz, and around 33Hz for the 12/15" DD95 seriesfor daily use, i'd strap the amps and get 1 15" HCCA, but if you really want to impress the neighbors, get the DDs..
