Posted March 28, 200520 yr 1. Where is a hole in the firewall? Doesn't have to be that large, just need one for one run of 10 gauge.2. Disconnect battery ... airbag deployment, loss of security, etc ... any of that BS?3. Install head unit - is it as easy as those couple screws in the bottom panel and then take the top one off?4. Running wire - where? Under door sills? Can figure it out when I know where that goddamn firewall hole is.Any help appreciated. Needed before tomorrow morning I'm still searching myself.

March 28, 200520 yr Author I was just wondering, just in case. I figured not.Other stuff is a big time concern right now. That firewall is ridiculous.
March 28, 200520 yr 10ga ?chit, just run some lamp cord.Positive and negative right next to each other !
March 29, 200520 yr Author cant find a hole, make a holeYeah yeah ... I know It just wasn't an option here - especially for a single run of 10 gauge. The Grand Poobah comes through in the clutch big time. I was really lucky to get him online. Managed to run the power/RCA/rem today. Didn't have the wiring harness for the head unit so I'll knock that out tomorrow, ground the amp ... plug and play.Gotta love the Pyle amp and sub ... Maybe it'll surprise me, who knows - but I'm not counting on it.
March 29, 200520 yr Author There's always a first. It just probably won't be tomorrow.BTW, I hate newer domestic vehicles for obvious reasons.
March 29, 200520 yr If you still need help on the dash......The dash on the S-10 should just pull off. around the radio and around the speedo gauges, you will need to put the parking break on (safety) turn the key to on, put the truck in 1st or low which ever it is. you will need to do this to get the dash off. Its just clips, if I made no sence let me know, I can take a pic of my dash which is very similar.
March 29, 200520 yr Author It's a standard, so I should be pretty set.Remove that bottom panel under the steering wheel (4 screws or something) and then remove the top panel. I'll have to unplug a couple connections in order to remove it.
March 30, 200520 yr Author The Pyle ... The cone rattles ... sweet. The amp lights up red. And it has blue LED's on the top and bottom. That's about how cool it is.
